Having completed her medical degree at the University of Southampton in the South of England in 2008, Deborah settled in Bournemouth to work as a doctor. She worked in the local hospitals and in the community from 2008 until 2014 gaining experience in many areas including general medicine, oncology and psychiatry. In 2014 she decided to pursue a career in General Practice and during this training she gained experience in Paediatrics which she really enjoyed and which led her to train for and achieve the Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Paediatrics in 2015. She completed her training General Practice in 2017 and worked in a busy GP surgery until this year when she decided to return home to Luxembourg with her family.
